Yin Yoga is a slow, mediative style of yoga practiced mainly on the floor. Postures are held for several minutes at a time so practitioners can access deep tissues, such as the connective tissue and the fascia. Many of the postures focus on areas involving joints i.e hips, sacrum and spine.
I offer one-to-one and group yoga specifically tailored to meet your needs and abilities.
I take an embodied and holistic approach to yoga, integrating breath, chanting, meditation, movement and visualisation.
To me what’s even more important than what you do in yoga, is how you do it. I take time when guiding you through your session to help you experience a practice which re-connects you deeply with yourself, whilst developing greater confidence and building upon the strength of the body.
My Moon Spirit, womb yoga program is a powerful complement to fertility massage therapy and can aid greater healing and understanding of your own bodymind connection.
I trained at the Marianne Wells Yoga School in Costa Rica gaining my 200hr YTT in 2012.
During further training with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli in Women’s Yoga Therapy I really deepened my understanding of what yoga can be for women and how it can support us through all stages of our lives.
